My Favourite TED Talks

If you have not heard of TED, then I believe you are missing out.

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design – It started out as a conference (in 1984) to bring people from these worlds together. Today it is a great source of inspirational thinking. Listening to TED talks is my way of being connected to the world’s consciousness.

On this page I will add links to my favourite talks:

James Cameron – Talked at the February 2010 conference about his passions and how they have led him to create, my favourite line was “no important endeavour that required innovation was done without risk”.

Professor Hans Rosling – 2 talks where statistics are used in an amazing way to change how you think about the world. (You can download the software that is featured in these talks and see more videos at the Gapminder website.)
